What is sponge?
A proper sponge is actually a living organism that you harvest from the seafloor. Its unique properties make it excellent in holding water. Nowadays there are synthetic sponges that work just as well as the natural one. A sponge is used in the same manor as a rag, but the difference is that the rag is not as good as the sponge in holding liquids.
