Fitting
Today there are hundreds of different companies designing and producing vacuum cleaners, most of these companies produce several models. Each model requires a dust bag that fits that exact design. Some bags fits in several models and sometimes the same bag even fits in another brand of vacuum cleaner. Many attempts has been made to come up with a standard to try to reduce the number of different bags on the market. So far it has been unsuccessful. The jungle of different dust bag will hang on far in the future. The bag will probably even survive the up-coming bag less vacuum cleaner. These are trendy but not so practical. The concept with a disposable bag is far more convenient.
The fitting of a bag is crucial, if there is a gap dust will not be filtered and will be blown out of the exhaust again. That’s why it is definitely not recommended to adjust another dust bag to fit, it just won’t work.
